Ludo was a clockmaker of photography. A researcher who never stops experimenting. For the Portraits of Cities Montreal, Ludo wanted to get out of the confines of his studio and the flashes set to the nearest degree. In Montreal, he brought out all his studio equipment, he didn't know how to do otherwise. Each image corresponds to hours of preparation in a city at -30°C, with the Mac freezing, fingers numb. Sometimes one image a day... Ludo flew away too quickly, he had so much to teach us. This book will remain a witness to our friendship and to the happiness we felt when he came to the studio, with that rare pleasure. I loved you, Ludo.
