Natalie Vodegel
Formal Nature
In the suspension of time of last spring, Natalie, in her home on the edge of the forest, reunited with her watercolor and brushes. A morning routine begins, a dialog with her « girls in polder » who she draws softly. Very quickly, a dialog gets underway with nature, echoing with the polders of her childhood. Natalie observes, brushes steadily, rocks, birds, flowers or simply light. A language of forms, organic or architectural, tense, is drawn to the outline.
