Jérôme dreamed of going back to Lofoten, once visited with his parents. Now a photographer, in his aesthete’s mind he had unfinished work over there. Work that needed to be completed with the eye he has today and the way he has of getting under the skin of a place. After a first trip to Norway in winter, Jérôme had planned to go back in the summer to complete the tableau of these islands lost in the North of Norway. The second trip never took place because the winter’s work had inspired us so much during the first round of edits that we decided to keep it as it was. One day, perhaps we’ll be back to the Lofoten archipelago to see the summer. With Jérôme.
