Janik Coat creates a colorful "bestiaire" with stencils for the publication of the album Aleph, ton premier livre. She plays with shapes, contrasts and colors. She builds her images like posters, while mixing drawing and digital. Her universe is essentially composed of stylized animals, made up of a few lines and pure forms, implausible and endearing creatures. This graphic sobriety is supported by texts full of humor addressing universal themes, such as identity, difference or attachment.

The occasion to discover or rediscover the pretty world of Janik Coat, a "bestiaire" which populates its work since the beginning: Romi the fluorescent rhinoceros, Popov the pink hippopotamus and Bernie the dancing bear... and its stories often without word.
