We were lucky enough to meet Massimo Vitali through a friend we have in common. Massimo’s Portraits de Villes story began after a very friendly dinner one night.
He had recently done a reportage on Rio de Janeiro for The New York Times Magazine, some pictures had already been published but there were still a lot to explore.
Over the course of his two trips, Massimo managed to shine a spotlight on each of the aspects of Rio in turn, a city that is both joyful and lively.
